This project reviews literature on the impacts and future of shipping in the Arctic as climate change progresses. New routes are opening up as ice melts and there is much more demand for the industry. The paper focuses on Sea Ice Melt and Shipping Projections, Emissions Impacts, Impacts on Wildlife, and Future Initiatives.
